1. Wake up earlier
2. Save more MONEY!
3. Exercise more
4. Drink less Diet Coke w/lime - that would help with #2
5. Eat healthier
6. Keep my house cleaner
7. Eat Out less...a lot less - that would REALLY help with #2
If you know me well, you know that this is likely NOT going to happen! Well, I'll probably find a way to save more money, but not by cutting out my Diet Coke w/lime or eating out less - it's just not in me!
I did, however, hear of a New Year's Resolution that sounded FUN, so I decided to do it! The goal is to take a picture every day of the year to document the "happenings" of our daily lives. Since I love pictures and I love scrapbooking, I knew this was the resolution for me - definitely something I can accomplish!
I know you might think a picture a day could possibly get boring, I worried about that myself. Fortunately, I have found it to be enlightening. It has helped me to pay more attention to the little things that happen in our life. Things that five years down the road would most likely be forgotten, but now that we have them documented, will be treasured for decades to come! Here's a glimpse of the past few weeks!

OK Jamie get ready for this endless response to this post!
Resolution #1: There is no problem with sleeping in. When I sleep in, I'm a happier person and can focus more on life!
So scratch that.
Resoltuion #2: Saving money is SO overrated.
So scratch That as well
Resolution #3: If I were as skinny as you, I would be the happiest person A L I V E! seriously. You are gorgeous, and obviously VERY in shape. PLUS on facebook, I recall you talking about your personal trainer...ha.
So Scrath that.
Resoultion #4: Why quit drinking something you love so much?
POINTLESS!
Scratch that.
Resolution #5: Again. If I looked like you, I would eat junk food every single day.
Scratch that as well.
Resolution #6: Is it even POSSIBLE for your house to be cleaner? Seriously. You are the cleanest person I know.
oh LOOK you already did that resolution. so you're done with that one!
Resolution #7: again. I wish I could eat out. lol first off people make the food for you, they mess up their own kitchen, and it's a reason to get out of the house if you have been stuck there all day.
So scratch that one.
Really Jamie. now I know why you don't want to make resolutions.
There is absolutely no REASON to!!
oh and P.S.! I really like that picture taking thing. it's an awesome idea!
LOVE YA!! :)
I love this post...and I think...if you're doing your best-it's good enough! So, raise your diet coke to enough...and enjoy:)
I love that picture idea!
I'm TOTALLY going to try that!
I agree that for the most part, New Year's Resolutions rarely go long term. So why try and then feel even more guilty about failing. Just wait until you are really ready, and then go for it! I love all of your pictures. I should be doing somthing like that myself, but seeing as how my house really is never clean, I guess I should start there first.
Take Care!

I saw the picture idea in creating keepsakes magazine. I though about doing, but then I didn't. Do you think it's too late to start? I agree with everything Audree said especially #3,6 &7! You are amazing, just keep being you, enjoy life and give thanks for all you have.
I love your new resolution about taking a picture a day. I may just have to steal that one. About eating out less, drinking less diet coke with lime and exercising more...WHATEVER! If I looked like you I would do whatever the HELL I wanted to do! :)
